Annual general meetings will be held May 20, 2026 before the regular council meetings. These meetings will include yearly summaries and elections of officers for vacancies.
Volunteer Tea
Join us Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 1pm to 2:30pm for our Volunteer Tea. All parents and guardians who have supported our school this year are invited to attend. Complementary Course Selections
Students who will be attending grades 7-9 at William D. Pratt next year will receive their complementary course selections forms this week. Students will be asked to select their top 6 choices on paper and enter their top 4 choices into PowerSchool. Course selection forms and selections in PowerSchool need to be completed by May 14.

School Council: Pancake Breakfast
FREE Pancake Breakfast — Tuesday, May 19! Join us on the basketball court on Royal Birkdale Dr. for a FREE community pancake breakfast hosted by WDP and ROS School Councils! The Calgary Stampede Caravan will be serving pancakes and halal turkey sausage, with Tim Hortons providing complimentary coffee and hot chocolate.
Serving times: WDP families 7:30 - 8:00 am | ROS families 8:00 - 8:30 am
Rain or shine: if the weather is rough, we'll move indoors to the WDP Aux Gym.
Please note: Parent supervision is required for ROS students and Pratt Grade 5/6 students. Pancakes contain dry eggs, dry milk, and flour. Gluten-free options are not available.
School Council: Colour Run
Our Colour Run is open for registration! For just $35 per person you get a Run registration, your choice of BBQ meal, an official "Hang 10" Colour Run T-shirt... and other goodies. Also to celebrate our 10th year we have so many prizes - A Paddleboard, Calaway Park Passes, Activate gift cards, Calgary Surge Tickets, and many more! Don't miss out on your opportunity to participate in our super cool annual year-end event. Our school staff have such a blast tossing colour powder at the kids. If it is your first time registering on the site you will need the code WDP if prompted. Your WDP student(s), family, friends, neighbours are all invited to join us! Registrations close May 24th at midnight, and we cannot guarantee anyone will be able to register the day of the run.
