Semester Change and Report Cards 

The last day for Semester 1 is January 27, with Semester 2 beginning on January 28. In past years, the change in semester and report cards have coincided with one another. This year, report cards will be available for families to view on February 24. This mid-year report card will include grades for all full year and semester 1 courses, with comments for all Core courses. Ongoing reporting of assessment for students is available through PowerSchool and updated regularly. https://www.cbe.ab.ca/news-centre/Pages/access-online-report-cards-in-February-2026.aspx    

Complementary Courses 

Each spring we design our course offerings based on students’ selections. This past spring we were able to expand our offerings for high interest courses and ensure all students received 3 out of 4 of their top choices, with most students receiving 4 out of 6 of their overall choices. As a result, we are not able to accommodate changes to complimentary courses. 

Athletics 

Our Volleyball season began on the first day of classes. Tryouts for your junior and senior teams is currently underway with Mini Mavs taking place Friday mornings. Check out the athletics calendar for more information: https://williamdpratt.cbe.ab.ca/athletics  

Yearbook 

William D. Pratt Yearbooks for the 2025-26 school year are on sale for $42.00. They can be purchased by following this link.The yearbooks will be delivered in June. The final order deadline is coming up in February. See the above website for more information and to place your order. Don’t delay, order yours today.
