Staff changes

December and January have brought some changes to staff at William D. Pratt. Mrs. Pentelichuk continues to support our 9.5 and 9.6 students in math and science. Mrs. Kazmaier will be returning on February 3 to teaching 5.1 and 5.2 math/science as well as 8.6 PE.  We are pleased to have Mr. Stevens remaining with us as he will be transitioning to CTF – Foods as well as PE 9.4 and 6.5.

Bridge Foundation Returns

The Calgary Bridge Foundation Lunch club resumes this Wednesday, Jan. 22nd during lunchtime, in room 229 (Ms. Carr's room). Parents have registered their student(s) with the Bridge Foundation to attend the lunchtime club. The gathering also welcomes un-registered newcomer students and those students whose parents are immigrants to Canada. New attendees are always welcome! Please email Ms. Carr if you have any questions about the Calgary Bridge Foundation and/or the lunch club.

School Drop Off/Drop Off Reminders

Before school drop off and after school pick up is a busy time on the roads around Pratt. Families are reminded not to park in front of the school or in the school parking lot to ensure all students are safe.

Winter Outdoor Activity Reminders

Tobogganing and skating are both restricted activities on school property. Students are reminded to refrain from engaging in these activities and listen to our amazing lunchroom supervisors.

Positive Community Members

Thank you to our students and families who are cognizant of our neighbors, respecting their property and ensuring access to their homes and driveways aren’t limited. Students are reminded to be respectful of their surroundings and community members when waiting for the city buses or walking home.
