Winter Weather
As the weather gets colder and the snow begins to fall, students are reminded to dress for the weather and bring winter jackets, boots, hats, and mittens to school. Our grade 5 and 6 students will still go outside when the weather is colder, unless the temperatures are below –20oC. Our older students have the opportunity to decide whether they stay in or go outside each lunch hour.
Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found grows steadily throughout the year. With the upcoming conferences, Lost and Found items will be on display in the Gathering Space. Following conferences November 28, all items not claimed will be donated.
Yearbook
We are back at school and finishing what we started — including this year’s yearbook!
The 2025 edition will capture many unforgettable moments. Don’t miss your chance to order before the final printing deadline. Our yearbook cost of $40 has been extended until December 19, 2025. Order your copy now to make sure your child’s memories are part of this year’s comeback story!
Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences
Fall conferences are scheduled for November 27 from 4pm to 8pm in-person and November 28 from 8am to 12pm virtually. Bookings for families will open tomorrow, November 24 at 8:30am, through your MyCBE account. Bookings will close November 27 at 8am to allow teachers time to prepare for meeting with families.
School Council: Staff Appreciation Potluck
On Thursday, November 27th, the School Council is asking for your assistance in bringing in Potluck items for teachers. Staff members have limited time to leave the school for dinner on Conference evenings, so this is an excellent way for us to show them some support and appreciation!
