Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,
As we come to the close of another memorable school year, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we've shared together. This year has been filled with triumphs, challenges, and countless moments of growth for each member of our school community.
To our students: Your hard work, dedication, and resilience have been truly inspiring. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in your creative endeavors, you have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence. Your achievements, both academic and personal, are a testament to your perseverance and determination.
To our parents and guardians: Thank you for your unwavering support throughout this year. Your partnership is invaluable in creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our students to thrive. Your involvement in our school community strengthens our collective efforts and reinforces the importance of education in shaping bright futures.
To our exceptional staff: Your passion for teaching, mentoring, and guiding our students is the cornerstone of our success. Your dedication and hard work have made a profound impact on the lives of our students, instilling in them a love for learning and a belief in their own potential. Your commitment to excellence sets a standard of professionalism and care that is unparalleled.
Richard Wagamese once said, "The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don't tell you what to see."
As we look forward to the future, let us carry forward the lessons learned and the friendships forged during this school year. Together, we have overcome challenges and celebrated achievements, and I am confident that the bonds we have built will continue to strengthen in the years to come.
The start of each school year provides opportunities for new beginnings just as years end brings change. This year, we bid farewell to a number of staff members who move on to new challenges.

Richard Wagamese also said “I don’t know the word for it, that space between seconds, but I’ve come to understand for myself that it’s the punctuation of my life. Between each word, each thought, each moment is where the truth of things lies. The more intent I am on hearing it, seeing it, feeling it, incorporating it, the more precise the degree to which I'm focused on my life and the act of living. I want to dive into those small bits of silence. They contain the ocean of my being and our togetherness. So if I don’t respond quickly, excuse me. I’m busy allowing the surf of consciousness to break over me so that I can stand on the coast of our unity and be more.”
Thank you once again for your continued support and dedication to our school community. I am incredibly proud to serve as your principal and look forward to all that we will accomplish together in the future.
Warm regards,
Janice Luchenski Principal
