This Week at Pratt

Dear Pratt Families,

It's been another wonderful week of learning and community at William D. Pratt! Our students continue to demonstrate perseverance, dedication, and school spirit through their classroom learning, athletics, clubs, and school-wide initiatives, including our food bank drive.

We are pleased to share that Pratt will receive additional Classroom Size Reduction funding for one teacher, which will be directed toward Grade 9, our largest student cohort. We are carefully considering how best to use this additional resource and will share further updates as planning progresses.

We also welcome Ms. Izabella D'Angelo, who will be teaching while Ms. Goods is away. We extend our thanks to Mr. Branco for his dedication to our students over the past several weeks and wish him all the best.

A reminder that Monday, October 19 is a Non-Instructional Day. Our teachers will be participating in professional learning focused on English as an Additional Language (EAL), assessment, and student learning data.

We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday!

Sam Kaddoura
Principal, William D. Pratt School
