This Week at Pratt

Dear Pratt Families,

We've wrapped up another wonderful week at William D. Pratt, filled with hands-on learning, school spirit and opportunities for students to grow!

Grade 9 Riverwatch Adventure

Our Grade 9 students took their learning beyond the classroom this week, exploring a 10 km stretch of the Bow River as part of their Environmental Chemistry unit.

While rafting down the river, students conducted water quality testing, explored aquatic ecosystems and investigated the relationship between human activity and the environment. With beautiful weather and enthusiastic participation, it was a fantastic opportunity to bring classroom learning to life!

Mavericks Athletics

Our soccer and basketball teams were busy competing this week! Through both wins and losses, our student-athletes demonstrated teamwork, perseverance and leadership. We are proud of their dedication to athletics while balancing their academic responsibilities.

As we head into Thanksgiving weekend, I want to express my sincere gratitude to our families for your continued partnership and support. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful school community, and I hope the long weekend brings opportunities to relax, reconnect and enjoy time together.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Sam Kaddoura
Principal, William D. Pratt School
